A practice of staying with what is here
Nothing is wrong with you.
This is a space for learning to remain with your experience.
Staying is the practice of turning toward what is here with steadiness, curiosity, and care.
Over time, many of us develop patterns in how we relate to what we feel. This work begins by noticing those patterns, rather than trying to change them.
Staying is not about fixing what you feel or getting rid of discomfort.
It is about remaining present with experience as it unfolds.
This includes the thoughts, sensations, emotions, and impulses we often try to manage, escape, or override.
Much of our suffering comes not from what arises,
but from the effort to move away from it.
Staying is a practice of turning toward what is here with attention and openness.
Over time, this creates space. Space to respond rather than react. Space to feel without being overwhelmed.
This is not a performance or a program. It is a way of meeting experience more honestly and returning to relationship with yourself.
This way of working is explored more fully in The Fire I Fed: From Ashes to Awareness.
